Hariri High School II is a private, English-medium, co-educational day school serving over 860 students from KGI to Grade 12.
About Our School
Hariri High School II (HHSII), formerly known as the Lebanese Evangelical School for Girls (LESG), was established in 1986 under the ownership and stewardship of the Rafic Hariri Foundation. Located in Zokak Al-Blat in Beirut, HHSII is an Anglophone, private, co-educational institution dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment that prioritizes the well-being of its students. We are proud to be a PYP (Primary Years Programme) candidate and an IB (International Baccalaureate) school, reflecting our commitment to providing a globally recognized, holistic education that emphasizes not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of each student.
The school serves 860 students from diverse societal backgrounds across all grade levels, from Kindergarten 1 (KGI) to Grade 12, with three specialized branches: Life Sciences, General Sciences, and Sociology and Economics. At HHSII, students are immersed in a school environment that values cultural diversity, spiritual principles, and most importantly, their personal well-being.

Trilingual & Rigorous Curriculum
In addition to Arabic, HHSII teaches English as the first foreign language, serving as the medium of instruction for math and sciences, and French as the second foreign language starting from kindergarten. Our curriculum is based on the Lebanese National Curricula, preparing students in Grade 9 and Grade 12 for the Brevet and Baccalaureate exams. However, our secondary curricula extend beyond national requirements, focusing on scientific and linguistic skills necessary for success in local and international university entrance exams.

More importantly, we emphasize the well-being of our students by empowering them with essential life skills, particularly critical thinking, social communication, and emotional resilience. Students are encouraged to develop their personalities holistically, fostering a balanced growth that nurtures their academic, social, and emotional well-being—preparing them not only for exams but for life beyond the classroom.
